Moriah's life changes again. The police and an ambulance arrive. Moriah is uninjured, thanks to her overprotective parents. Though, in protecting Moriah, her parents get badly injured. The ambulance rushes them off to the hospital.

Moriah is in tears.  She had felt the violent tug on her clothes ...and she heard the mixture of angry voices and panicky voices.

The panicky voices were those of her loving parents.  And she will never forget the angry voice of the man responsible for such violence.

The police do not know that Moriah is blind.  They ask, "Did you see the man!  Did you see what he drove away in?"

Moriah had imagined the orange flower to be blue ...and that didn't matter.  But, she is not going to say that the man had on a red shirt and blue jeans ...and drove away in a 2008 light blue Jeep Wrangler.  Suddenly, those details are much more important.  

Moriah tells the policeman that she is blind.
